The first film in the Home Alone franchise, the film stars Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern, John Heard, and Catherine O'Hara. Culkin plays Kevin McCallister, a boy who defends his suburban Chicago home from burglars after his family accidentally leaves him behind on their Christmas vacation to Paris. There is no doubt that the story is really interesting but what makes it so funny is the way the actors, especially Joe Pesci, David Stern and Macaulay Culkin, have put in their maximum efforts to make the film even more awesome.

Sondra is an interesting character because while she doesn't appear much in the film, when she does, she never once drops her nasty nature.
As far as the McCallister family is concerned, it’s true that they don’t exactly treat Kevin that well. The movie is full of unforgettable moments but the best Home Alone quotes are always heard around the holidays. Looking at the bigger picture, the overall download numbers are relatively modest.

Harry and Marv ambush Kevin and prepare to get their revenge, but Marley intervenes and knocks them out with his snow shovel.
